Meaning the continuation of the policies before he was president. He is continuing on the same path as Bush.

Expanding on part of what Bush 43 did or being Bush 43 on steroids does not make Obama a Republican any more than that "part" helped make Bush a Republican.

I understand now where you are coming from but Obama can not just reverse the actions that Bush had taken to detect and to insure the safety of American's. Perhaps the Bush Administration had taken to a bit to far but mostly it is out of Obama's hands as it must go into committee. This however does not mean that Obama is more republican than Bush as Bush would not do the things that Obama has insisted on doing.
