I'm sure these are not robins even though many say they are. If they are robins, waht are they doing in the desert?
If you know anything about these visitors, let us know?
They do add color to a drab landscape.
They appear to be Robins, harbringers of Spring.

And what are what was once known as Fulvus tree ducks doing in East Texas, when the experts say, or used to say, that they are a deep South Texas or Mexican bird. Actually, they are related to swans and not ducks. Same story about white wing dove. They are found now in Central Texas, North Texas and where ever else. Used to back a few decades ago that hunters traveled to the Rio Grande country to shoot white wings. It is not terribly unusual for birds to stray from their accustomed haunts.
Yep. Robins. The winter here, in Kansas City has been so mild this year that they never left.
Bobber, I'm in East Texas, and I have White Wing Doves on my feeders. I have photos of them.
Robins for sure !!

They LOVE to get into water and bathe frequently. I shot these at our Botanical Garden last February. Enjoy, Vearl

Thanks for the correction. I knew it was either a greckel or starling and I guessed wrong. NOTHING new there, Vearl
