Went down to YNP and Grand Teton National Park to shoot some pics of Elk. Not very many this year, but lots of pretty scenery. Shot these in Grand Teton National Park. It's very difficult to get a bad picture there. Enjoy!!

Great shots Robin, we were in Yellowstone in late Sept and early Oct. We did see more elk then we ever have but they were all up high and we watched them through a spotting scope. RRS

RRS Thanks for looking and commenting. Glad you saw lots and lots of elk. Over 4 days we saw only three Bulls working the Madison Meadows. Baaaad! Next year hope they stay a while. Did you watch the in the Lamar? Robin

I definitely second that. I find the tilted horizons visually disturbing. Other than that they are great shots

Yes. We watched a lot of big bulls from Hitching Post in a high meadow to the SE. We also watched a strange occurrence in Slough. The Junction pack Alpha and one of this years pup went up and over the top and just about on top these two came face to face with a big bull. I was kind of surprised what took place. The two wolves stopped dead in their tracks and then walked away and around the elk, that elk stood his ground and made the wolves walk off. In June we always see elk this side of Dunraven but we saw none there this time and it snowed everyday except one. Sorry I missed you on the way back, maybe next time. RRS

Thanks Leeny. I have a problem with the horizon it's hard for me to correct, but I'm working on it, I hope. Cheers.

Doesn't take much to disturb you does it?

If you have (or get) Lightroom 5 leveling your photograph is a one click fix in the basic section of the lens correction panel or you can do it manually in the crop and straighten panel. You can also fix the verticals as well. For me its an essential tool
