Does anyone know about this 5 Day photographic deal.?

Retail value of this bundle far exceeds $2000
10% of your purchase goes to charity.
The 5 Day deal runs from Noon October 15th thru Noon October 20th
Over 70 hours of Photo training.
14 Photography eBooks
300+ Lightroom Presets
500+ Textures
There is a 15% off coupon for anything on the Zone-Edit site.
The bundle is only $89!
I have been trying to get their (5daydeal.com) FAQ's to work. Specifically want to know how long will there be access to download the bundle, and about how long it will take to download it on DSL. I'm considering buying it, but need some info before I do so. Their site doesn't seem to respond, and wondering if they are just getting too many trying to access them, or is it always that slow!

Well, I spoke too soon. Just went back to their site and the FAQ's were available..Have 3 weeks to download the bundle, apparently the 35 gbt download is divided up into several zipped files.
So, now, do I or don't I?? That is the question!

If you want info on that outfit post the link so internet savvy folks can check out the 'legitimacy'.

Lightroom presets and textures are widely available on the web, you just have to look for them. e-books are also available so don't look at numbers but at what it is that is really offered.

Considering how many contributors have sent emails out, (James Brandon, Chris O'Donnel, Andrew Gibson, Blake Rudis, Farbspiel) it is the real deal

I refer you to the website given in parentheses (5daydeal.com) in my original posting. Sorry just didn't think about making it easier for others to link up to the site.

Domain is 'private' is protected against inquiries if one want to learn who runs the outfit. That is a red flag. I would not buy anything from them.

ONLY you can determine if the bundle is worthwhile...

I would suspect that most of the bundle is free or almost free, so is the value of the bundling worthwhile?

FYI - the deal lists the Mastering Photography by Andrew Gibson for 11.97, but you can buy it on the authors site for 7.00, and with a discount code you can get it for 5.00

Definitely a case of buyer beware I think ;)

I've reviewed what is offered and I have most of that info via free links and tutorials... Granted it was pieced together over time and this bundle is available as one package but I would evaluate if I want to spend money on something that is available mostly free...

Just my thoughts...

Who is on the 5DayDeal team? How can I reach you?
5DayDeal is run by Griffin & Valerie Stewart and Lorilee and Bryon Lippincott. The company is located in Nebraska, USA. You can learn more about us here. The best way to reach us is by e-mail by contacting us here.

Also just to ease minds, I have no connection to this outfit, nor is there any monetary gain involved!

I wouldn't trust them. The whole 'too good to be true' aspect just slaps you in the face....

I look at web site ownership that is usually way more telling than their own 'about' or 'mail from - respected - folks'. If the owner is listed you can trace down the corporation and so forth, if any. The rest is BS as I do not trust commercial or any site selling anything if the web site is anonymous.
