Here are ten grammatical "mistakes" people often correct, but they aren't mistakes. I'm surprised the author missed the preference for using "I," rather than "me" in so many cases.

She did more than that -- she said alright instead of all right :>) I would take issue with many of her assertions. Opera IS the plural for opus, and feeling well IS preferable to feeling good, unless she's the one being felt!

I've never like "alright."

This just shows that the English language is constantly changing! Thanks for sharing.

I've always been a nut about ending a sentence with a preposition, until I read the following rule.:

If it makes sense with the preposition, include it. Ex: "Where are you from?" It would sound really stupid to say, "From where are you?"

If it isn't needed, exclude it: Ex: "Where are you going to?" should just be, "where are you going?"

This sure makes the rule a lot easier to follow.

Language changes, and those changes are driven by popular usage.

With regard to the subtle changes that are happening to the English language, I have a problem with the statement. "it's been good talking to you" which has become standard use by Australian TV presenters and interviewers. To me it would be more appropriate and polite to say, "it's been good talking with you". "Talking to" is usually what a head master does to a recalcitrant student whereas "talking with" is the process of interviewing.
