The offer is Canon Canada, If you pre-order before Nov.15 you are eligible to buy the 24-70 f/4 L for $399.99. It seems it is a good deal since the lens normally retails for $1000. Your decision should be if the lens really belongs with your arsenal.

Which 24/70? There's an older model and a newer one. Make sure you know what your getting!

There is only one Canon 24-70mm f/4L IS USM that I know about. To what older version are you referring?

You are right! My Canon 24/70 is an f/2.8 with no IS. My mistake.

It is a nice combination and the lens packaged at that price is a good deal. Henry's or direct from Canon I would just buy at Henry's. Great walk in stores helpful staff and all round excellent service.
There are no warranty issues whatsoever , the OP is from Canada. I have dealt with Henry's since the 1970's and highly recommend them.
