1st attempt at IR

These were my first attempt at IR. I was so excited about using my new filter that I never noticed the wind. I'll be a little more observant next time I'm trying to decide if I want to convert my T2I to IR I took these with a point and shoot 100 iso 15 seconds. Used a 950 ir filter then Processed with Elements10 and Nik software. Can anyone recommend a film type for IR film and do I still need the filter if I use IR film. The last thing is focus, I'll be using a Bronica ETRSI with 75mm lens. Do I adjust the focus to the red line on the lens or is there a formula to get the focus correct with film
