I decided to do some PP experiments using my different Macphun PP software. I used Tonal Layering for dramatic effect and Intensify Pro for Dark details and then FX Studio pro for final pp with frames and final treatments. Please try the downloads.

I like your efforts here, Jim. Of the group, I'd pick the first as my favorite, with the deep velvety dark red of that flower. I'd prefer the second however, if the flower's color was a bit deeper. I like that 'foggy' effect a lot (sort of what Bob Yankle is up to with his 'Appeasement' shot today). Maybe if you applied the effect overall, but masked off the flower itself? Might be fun to try it that way, see what happens with it.

The framing is also really nice. Good job!

Thanks so much Randy for looking and commenting; I really did not have a plan here unfortunately; I just started playing around to see how far I could push the software to give pleasing effects. I've saved each and now can go back and push some more. Thanks again and I'm glad you liked them. :-D

Thanks Vicky, glad you liked them. I've got to learn to stop when I'm ahead of the game LOL, actually I was pushing this software to see what I could wring out of it. Thank you for stopping by and for the very nice comment.
