No crowd control at our event.
The public is encouraged to meet and get close to the balloons.
Great weather today, I hope tomorrow is as nice.
I'll post more later.
Interesting, pretty photos!

Just remember that balloons are controlled by the weather.
When the weather co-operates its quite beautiful.

Thank you very much.
This was Yodas debut and I got some really nice shots of an awesome special shape balloon.

I was there many years ago, would love to go back. I stepped across one guys balloon and he got somewhat upset. I knew not to do that again.
Nice shots!
So neat! I'd love to go see them some day (bucket list!). My cousin and his wife went there every year to see it.

If you get the chance to go up in one of the balloons do it. We did and while we were up the "box" quit working and we kept going and going and going. Finally made it down in a freshly fertilized field. It was natural fertilization and boy did it stink. The pilot had to work us over to the road. Had he let the balloon down in the field they would have had to get a crane to get it out. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I hope that the pilot took the time to explain to you why he was upset.
It doesn't take very much to tear the fabric on a balloon and if you had hooked it with your shoe, he would not only have to repair the balloon but he would likely not be able to fly that day.
If he was flying completion, that could have eliminated him.
I have had that happen to me and I always explain why that should never be done. In my case it was someone running to crew for another balloon and she was late. We chatted for about 5 minutes. I'm afraid she was a bit later. ;)

Thank you,
I recommend it to anyone that has ever thought of it.
It is so peaceful when you are in flight. There is no wind because you are traveling with the wind and you can hear things for a long way away.
