The new iPhones aren't exclusively bending on billboards. I've heard complaints on other forums...you can buy stiff cases so the Plus won't bend.

The bending is getting more publicity than it's worth. As of last week, Apple had gotten only nine complaints about bending. Consumer Reports tested them and didn't see a problem.

I didn't know that, I'm planning on getting one but waiting until Verizon supports prepay then I'll buy the phone outright. I have the 5s now but plan to get the 6 Plus.

Are you sure Verizon doesn't do that now? When I got my last phone they tried to talk me into that.

When you buy the phone outright, how much lower are the monthly payments? I haven't seen details.

Yes, they do but they haven't made the iPhone 6 available to prepay yet, I'm sure they will before Christmas. I don't save a heck of a lot, I have unlimited but am also paying for Mom's phone, also on prepaid. Her phone has minutes, something like 500 originally with 498 left! The phone doesn't help a heck of a lot, Jerry, when it's on the counter at home. :)

I have unlimited minutes and texting, combined with my son's iPhone. Our data used to be unlimited, but it's now 2 or 3GB.

I think mine's $40-some plus Mom's phone. That woman - trying to get her in the 21st century concerning gadgets, I think is impossible. Refuses to get a computer, an iPad, anything. You're probably wasting your time and money. Why don't you just get her a basic phone and be done with it.

My galaxy won't bend......it will just crack if I force it. This story is so overblown. Any metal will bend if you force it enough.
