Yeah, I know that these were dyed (looking at my hands after touching them was proof enough :D ) but they were colorful, inexpensive and I was in the mood for something a bit different.
Bought a bouquet from my local Safeway the other night and then selected several (one of each color) for my subjects. Didn't have any real vases (I'm trying to downsize and have given the vases I had away) so I used a Dasani bottle, clipped the flower stems and just made sure I didn't get the 'vase' in the photo. Used a piece of black foam board propped up on the steps to my back deck as my 'studio'. Was kind of fun and you have to admit the colors grab you. Only used the late afternoon (on the other side of the house) light, no flash or other enhancements.
SOOC, no adjustments of any kind.
Comments welcome as always.
Best,
Tom
Just think, my fingers are pretty much these same colors ... :)

Lovely colors.
Thanks! They really caught my eye near the checkstand and I thought 'what the heck?' Didn't realize how much the dye would bleed however ... had somewhat of a mess to clean up
Appreciate you looking and your comment - have a great weekend!!!

Thank you kindly ... I know they're dyed but thought them pretty striking anyway.
Have a good one!

Creative and fun and inexpensive! The colors grab me too! I like what you did, like a box of crayolas and a cling to summer all in one!

I'll do almost anything to keep the rainy months ahead of us at bay even for a few days ... :):):)
Thanks for looking and for your kind words, I appreciate it a lot.
