Looks pretty sharp. I would like to see the background blurred a lot more. Cutie. Can't do to much to make those shots bad. ;)

Really? That is weird. The background is pretty sharp for that setting. I will have to think about that one.

Thanks. He is a looker. My youngest grandson will be 3 months old on Valentine's day. He looks like a monkey boy. Lol. I am sure he will grow out of that-I hope. Lol

Who makes the lens? This is bugging me a little. I am pretty tired though;) long day at work, and now the brain is on cruise control.

Well it is a wide angle so the DOF extends more. Not sure what the distance of lens to subject was. 8-)

What's the distance between the subject and the background?

at 2.8 you would think the background would be more blurred especially since the background is some distance from the subject.

He's tack sharp though and super cute.

O.k. The distance between Josh and the paneled wall is about 10ft. The green? wall comes out from the paneled wall about 4ft. I was about 4ft. from the baby( I cropped out as much unnecessary junk as possible). My wife was sitting on a couch which the back is directly behind him if this helps.
