Hello from IL. I'm new to the forum I hope to learn more about my camera and getting off auto more. I have a canon rebel t2i and have been looking to get a new camera. I love taking nature shots, I want to expand I also like barns and country landscapes, and flowers. Looking for some tips on different lenses. I want a wide angle for country scenes and barns. Later I want a macro for flowers and insects and more.

Welcome to the family!

I have the T3i. If you stay with the APS-C cameras, look at the 10-18 mm lens by Canon, fairly new to the market and $300. I love it!! If you're stepping up to a full frame camera, I'm sure there are many folks who will be happy to assist :)

Hello Linda I was told by one person to get a 15-85 lens and another told me to get a 10-24, so I hope to get some opinions on here and maybe see some pictures to help make up my mind. I have a canon 70-300 & a sigma 50-500, but I'm wanting a good wide angle for scenic pictures. I have a lot to learn to take good pictures but willing to try.

Is the full frame a lot better quality picture ? I have never used one so don't know how much different they are. I know the picture is larger but was wondering about quality.
