OMG, the sky is falling.

1. You sir are an idiot, and insult everyone who reads your posts.

2. Your link goes to NOWHERE.

Might I suggest you, you personally concern yourself with the over population of the world and take immediate action to lower the population by one, yourself, suicide!

Your action will not only lower the world's population, but also increase the overall average IQ of the world.

It is truly shocking gargleblaster, but the powers that be don't seem to be doing anything about it. I despair at what the future holds for the worlds wildlife.

Don't expect the "powers that be" to do everything. You start with yourself and setting an example to others.

You will have to be more explicit gargleblaster, do you mean be kind to animals or go 'green' or what?

You are correct sir, the sky is not falling.

However, if half the animals are missing, I suspect it is the front have that is disappearing. As the people yelling the sky is falling proves that we have an over abundance of horses' asses in the world.

I don't understand the responses to this. If someone told you a hurricane was on the way would you reply "the sky isn't falling!" and mock and ridicule the person trying to warn you?

Does anyone doubt the destruction of habitat and dwindling populations of thousands of species? Upon what basis do you doubt that? Or is it just kinda sorta a feeling you have?

Does anyone doubt that a threat to the environment is a threat to human existence, in other words a threat to the future for our children and grandchildren? Again, upon what basis?

If you are saying that many, if not most of the environmental organizations are corrupted, politicized, alarmist, and pursing agendas that are contrary to their stated goals, I agree with that 100% But that does not mean that we do not have serious environmental problems.

Of all of the social and political insanity going on in the country, this denial of the environmental crisis is the most inexplicable to me.

If you didn't like the politics of your local firefighters, or had questions about their competency, would that lead you to deny there is any problem when your house is on fire? That would make about as much sense as this strange denial of the growing environmental crisis does.

While I am sure that you are correct, humans have had nothing to do with virtually all of them

What is the relevance of that statement?
