Any one have the Canon 70d and what do you like and dislike about it. What lense do you like with it. I have the T3i now and would like an upgrade and the 70d looks like the one.

I had a T2i and bought a 70D, all the lenses I got for the T2i are compatible with the 70D. Have three Tamrons; 18-270 PZD a great all around lens; 60mm f2 macro great portrait and macro lens; and a 10/24 f3/4.5 wide angle for better landscapes, plus I have a Canon 100mm 1:2.8 macro (haven't used it much). As far as the 70D goes, it takes great pictures and the learning curve is quite different and it takes some getting used to but I love it and the picture quality is better. I do have to say that I really liked my T2i and it took some great pictures but it was ready for retirement.

I upgraded from a Rebel T2i to a 70D about a year ago. It has better build, better high ISO performance, better video which it excels at , a faster processor, Digic 5 vs a Digic 4, 2 more megapixels. faster shutter speed 4.5 for the rebel VS 7 FPS for the 70D, wi-fi connectivity.plus many other features. But what I like the most is the articulating view touch screen. Its an awesome camera. As for a lens try Canons 15-85mm. This is the lens that is on my camera 90% of the time. But you can use any of your current lenses or any lens Canon makes. Go for it. you wont be sorry. I,ll be taking mine to Hawaii in 3 days.
