Old abandoned church.
Found this old church only a couple of miles from where I live. Not sure what denomination it is but I would guess Orthadox.
How interesting and sadly beautiful. Would love to know its history.

This is a beautiful old bldg. I like the photo.
Was there a cemetery near by Old head stones make good photos and help with genealogy.
I would guess either Greek or Russian Orthodox. Nice picture!
Nice pictures!!! The farmer must own the church, or you can pay the back taxes on it and open a bed & breakfast. Did you ring the bell? Just a note with older properties like this their might be a chance of well not properly secured so there might be a change of falling through.

Nice photos Myrna. The architecture would suggest Russian Orthodox.

I didn't gat all that close. I used my long lens as I was out hunting for birds to practice on. I will check next time.
Hi Myrna, looks like if you can get close to it there are some great peeling paint , texture images waiting to be had, also the Cupolas are interesting It looks to a Russian orthodox church.
I wonder if there is anything inside?

That is what I was thinking but will check it out and see what the locals say. We have lived here 10 years but with only being here in the summer we don't know much about the history around here.
The last sentence should read - Older properties like this may have a unsecured well and could be a chance of falling through. Just a quick note for general information.
