The Itsy Bitsy Spider....

just went outside in the dark to see if he had come out... sure enough he was there, I was able to get one shot off before he retreated into his hose!!

...was out the two minutes and got bitten up alive by mosquitos!!!

Oh tell me about those skeeters, Angela, and they're all hungry. Must be storing up for winter. lol I like your itsy bitsy hose spider. He or she (probably) is rather cute. :-D

Super shots, Angela! I knew you wouldn't be able to sleep 'til you caught it :)

The lighting and perspective on #2 really enable us to see the work that went into the design. Amazing!

That is one cool spider, Angela. And he's built a super home for himself. I think he came out just so you could get that shot. Love it.

We went out at dark, my husband held the flashlight, he was there!
I got these 2 shots before he went in, and I got 6 mosquito bites!!

Whoa, that's just to scary this time of night. Glad your Husband was close by. And as far as the skeeters....I just so glad they are at the end of their life cycles.

Great shots, WOW!! I view at x400 and the spider had a bee in his front legs and what looked like a fly on his left leg. Thanks for sharing:)

Did the itsy bitsy spider climb up the water hose? And in #2, down came the rain? Nice shot! Enjoyed your story! But sorry about the mosquitos, and boy! do I understand!
