This steam train station is open to the public. They ask that you don't go in the shop (open pit) or climb on stuff.
I do have some past post of this yard that shows a lot of stuff.

I really like #2. I've been through Chama a few times on my way to one trout stream or another but have never taken the RR trip.

I just posted the last series of images, riding a second trip on the train. I hope they give you a good idea of what to expect. My images cannot portray the wow factor of riding an open car, chasing the train, the smell of burning coal or the intense sounds of the train chugging alone. Something you can only experience.
I hope the postings will give an idea of what to expect.
