Super pics Linda from Maine. 1 & 3 are stunning - I love the colors in 3, and the ducks - a frameable photo. Really good work!

Thanks! Part of the "play" in that was Picasa boost + Picasa Orton-ish :)

I really like that first shot. I think the rails make a very good foreground. Love "S" curves in a composition. I also think the Third shot is fantastic. Great color and the light is perfect. Well done, Linda.

Thanks so much, dugole. I really appreciate! For #3 I did some Picasa boost + Picasa Orton-ish. Even with Nik and my Topaz plug-ins, I sometimes find fun results in the free Picasa :)

Thanks so much, Erich. I really appreciate it!

The color in #3 was "boosted" and "Orton-ized" in Picasa :)

Thank you so much, Angela. I bet your spider is bigger than mine - lol.

I haven't seen a lot of color here yet; this shot was Picasa "boosted" and Ortonized a little bit :) But some years Yakima does get colors to rival New England's - even if there aren't nearly as many trees!
