Sony RX100-II Macro Quality?

Hello all, this is Bill from the SF Bay Area, a new user. Intend to upgrade to the Sony RX100-II and hope one of you can comment on its macro capability. Also, is it as good in low light as rumored?

Low light shooting should be great with the larger than average sensor, macro should be great also. The Sony RX series are one of the best in the business for advanced point & shoot cameras.

Welcome Bill. Did you know we had a macro group here. If you go to the top of the page and click on HOME a list of groups will appear and at the bottom of this list is a list of all the groups. The macro shooters here are very helpful and knowledgeable to answer your question if you post it again there.
