About a week ago a member posted pictures, Triptych and gave away his secret for creating them. I need more info on how he bent or brought forward the edges on the right and left sides. I went to Panosfx website and didn't have any luck. Please help. I need to know how to do it because it is so different.

Thanks,
Bill

Hi
This is the link: http://www.panosfx.com/free-photoshop-actions/reflections

You will have to register, which is free and easy. I signed in and was using the action within 5 minutes.

Good luck!

BTW When you log onto the site after you register click on the free downloads then click on the "Reflections Actions" to get the triptych action.

I have used triptych info from Photoshop Elements Volume 5 Number 4
It is a great tutorial from Mike Rodriguez. I haven't used it for years (hmm). I may have to refresh my memory and do a few.
You may have to google to find it.

Not quite sure your question? Wanting to stretch the reflection? If so, just pull down the box that is around the reflection to make it longer or shorter. Is that it?

No I want to bring the left and right panels forward to give the picture a folded or brought forward look.

Here is a link if you can't get the plug in to work and are looking for other ways to do it.

http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/members/download-triptych/

This is not a plug-in, just doing triptych straight out of Elements.
This was in 2008 (Elements 6) but 12 of course can do it as well.
Hope this helps

You should have each panel on its own layer. See tutorial below.

http://www.paintshopprotutorials.co.uk/html/triptych_framing_elements.html

To achieve the effect you want in the left and right panels, use the Image>Transform>Perspective command. See this Help document on how to apply perspective.

I make my own panels you can go to edit, distort and perspective and pull the outer edges to make them larger. I work with or without a photo and put the photo in after I have done the tryptic.

Bill--A suggestion. You might post the specific problem you are facing to the Post Processinbg Digital Images forum here. Some really good practioners "live" there and might not see this in the Main Photography Discussion.
