I entered a juried art exhibit
The exhibit is
“ Emilee’s Art Dream” MS awareness
I submitted my digital photos just as
a mental therapy exercise. I have MS
Not that the Jury was looking for anyone with
MS but it just so happens that I take photos
And had a collection of photos that I thought I
could submit. I was not looking to be chosen
I was just taking a risk. Well they voted and
They want my work. I have to now get the photos
ready to be displayed. The curator wants me to
Give her info on the pic and prices. I was not expecting
to do this and have never been in this passions before.
Here are 3 of the six. Orange is the color that is used to promote MS. Dark days of MS- I hate this flower and I hate MS. there are many dark days with feelings of depression and worse. If you notice that the little bug on the right of the flower was a photo bomb but I have to say that having MS really bugs me as well. Hope- If you notice the dragonfly has orange hearts to represent the love and hope for treatment that family and friends have for those afflicted with MS.
Life is a Blur- I took this shot while driving (i am only telling you this). This is to represent the cognitive issues that come to many with MS. I kept asking my neurologist if I might have Alzheimer’s instead of MS and the answer was always no. I have apparently asked my son 15 before noon if he had brushed his teeth. This is just one of the many examples of cognitive issues associated with MS.
I ordered Black Gallery frames with double mat for all six pieces.
I was thinking of asking $259 for Life is a Blur. The exhibit is going to be at Westfield State University and I am not sure if it will be moving after that.
I would love any feedback.

Seeds of Hope- Many people with MS have to take many pills and many IV treatments all with the hope that something will work to slow down the progression or put into remission

The photos are lovely. It is also a worthy cause. I can't help with prices; but I hope you do well and raise lots of money.
