My wife and I just returned from Aruba for anniversary vacation. 3 things I learned, 1. Not everyone should wear a thong bathing suit. 2. People that look like me should not wear a speedo. 3. Never, ever, try to smuggle Cuban cigars past the customs guy.

Other than that, did you have a good time? Where did you stay? I've been to Aruba a couple times but the last time, it just seemed so built up and Americanized. I loved to go during Carnival, that was cool. Did you happen to take a tour of their mountain(s)?

If you saw guys wearing speedos then you may have been staying in the more Euro centric low rise area like Eagle Beach near the Bucutti Beach Resort.

If that's the case then there should have been some topless female sightings.
That's the good news. The bad news is that also goes for all ages. :-o :)

Is the Hyatt and Riu on Palm Beach?

Yes I believe those would be up on Palm Beach. I think the big Holiday Inn is in that same area as well.
The odd thing is that some of those larger hotels have lots more people but less beach then some of the smaller hotels in the low rise section by Eagle Beach.

And divy-divy trees lean northeast.

Cuban Cigars: Take the wrappers off and claim the cigars are from Honduras. Or buy Honduras cigars and put the wrappers on your Cuban cigars.

I also found that 3 Cuban cigars would fit inside my flashlight.

In Germany, the larger the body the smaller the bathing suit!

joined the local cycling club. Bought all the gear. Showed up for my first ride.

Club pres took me aside and said the first thing I have to tell you..."Wearing Spandex is a privilege... not a right".

Okay, where are the photos?
Just kidding; been to a couple of those types of vacations myself...
Those are the kind of pics you keep in your head.
