It's not as bad as some people thought, and it will get even better. Yes, you can take pictures in National Parks without being thrown into prison.

Photographers, and any American Citizen must be constantly vigilant to protect our rights. Remember, every American is a signature away from loosing our important Constitutional Rights. Just look at the Patriot Act. It is not a right to bring our loss of rights to air, but our duty. The letter from the USFS, confirms they know a sizable population of Americans have noted and responded to their proposed changes.
