our babies our getting bigger , this one is the small one and the most vocal can nearly always find him-her
today he let us get within 10 ft or so well he was on the ground , and after he flew back to his tree mum came in with dinner , he flew out grabbed it off her in mid air, awesome but i missed it with the canon

thank you ebrunner , she was sitting there for a while so those are the first i did sure theirs many more lol

thank you S.Jersey , they are skittish here too we have been watching this mating pair since i saw them mating some months back , watched where they flew to and have been checking on them 2 times a day morning and night so they are used to us now and are far less skittish
we never stayed long in the egg sitting stage as we did not want them to leave the nest , i did stay too long for mum one day and she swooped me i was so shocked i missed the photo would have been a good one lol, i had been there about 10 min normal was up to about 5min
but the young have grown up with us always there ,so they dont seem to care much and i now spend and hour or 2 just watching them ( how cool is that )
mum and dad come in some times but are wary
from what i have read spotted harriers are the only harrier in the world to nest in trees
