I'd like to hear others opinions on this. It seems to me that naming the young lady publicly would certainly jeopardize her and her family's welfare and was a stupid move. Any comments?
(CNN) -- Maj. Mariam Al Mansouri may be ISIS' worst nightmare.
The first female fighter pilot in the United Arab Emirates, she led a strike mission this week against the terror group, that country's ambassador to the United States said Thursday.
"She is (a) fully qualified, highly trained, combat ready pilot, and she led the mission," Yousef Al Otaiba told MSNBC's "Morning Joe."
The UAE has joined the United States and a handful of other Arab nations in conducting airstrikes against ISIS in Syria.
This summer, the group declared the establishment of a "caliphate," an Islamic state stretching across the territory it has conquered. It maintains strict rules for women, who are lashed for infractions such as not being fully covered.

THAT is exactly the fear ISIS is working so hard to instill in all the minds of the free world. Are we to sit back and let their horrendously barbaric tactics make all of us hide in the bathroom? HELL NO! Get out there and wipe out the entire bunch, one at a time, or a hundred at a time. Preferably the latter!
She was probably named for propaganda purposes. The Kurds have an all women battalion that has great success. If you are killed by a woman you can't get into heaven. No virgins no nothing.
They already know she is a fighter pilot, unless they have zero informants in the UAE.
And there are reports that many of the ISIS fighters are scared of being killed by a female (Kurdish PKK has women fighters) because it would be such an insult to their manhood. (and embarrassing in paradise) The other "martyrs" might look down on you and make fun of you for getting yourself blown away by a "girl".

I saw this on the news. They showed her doing a pre flight inspection. I thought it was interesting.

Agreed. I'm not an Obama fan by any means but I support his actions so far on this matter. I just hope he doesn't broadcast our intentions and that we are doing much more behind the scenes that the public doesn't know about.
Many mid-eastern countries have much to lose so they should be active participants in the engagements against ISIS. What galls me is that we thanked them for their participation when they should be thanking us.

Absolutely. I just fear that ISIS will want to make an example of her being so high profile.

I heard she was a co-pilot but drove the pilot crazy with her back seat driving. He finally said "It's all yours. I'm bailing out". I just hope she doesn't get distracted when she sees a
