What are the steps to convert raw post processed photos into a final jpeg photo? The recipients can only except jpeg images for their usage.
What software are you using?.....most require you to "export" as the type of file you want (ie jpg, png, tiff).

The answer to that question is going to depend on what software you are using. How are you currently processing your RAW images?
I just purchased PS6. I've had no experience with this new product. I am a beginner.

By PS6 I assume you mean Photoshop CS6. Opening the RAW file from CS6 should send it to the ACR (Adobe Camera RAW) module where you perform any white balance, color correction, lens adjustment, etc. Once you are done, in the bottom-right of the window you have 3 buttons to exit ACR. Click on Open Object, that will take you back to the Photoshop main window. You can further tweak the picture in Photoshop if needed then click on File at the top of the page, click on Save As. In the new window at the bottom you can change the file name, below that is format. Click the pull-down arrow on the right and choose JPEG (jpg, jpeg, jpe). Click the Save button when finished.

I have never used PS but most such progs save in their own format, usually to preserve all the data re layers, filters etc. If you wish to save your finished file as a JPG you will need to "Export" rather than "Save". You would probably need to click "File" then "Export" then follow the usual folder/file options. :-) Good luck

A helpful hint - If you click on the "Quote Reply" button instead of the "Reply" button it will include last post of the person you are answering. Makes following the conversation much easier for everyone :D :D

When using Lightroom you need to export. In Photoshop it's the save or save as function.
