Just playing with my new Sigma 120-400 lens. Friend has a bird feeder filled with honey water, while I only have cats so not many birds.

I am blown away with the fact you have these guys flying around in the wild. We only see them in captivity here. I was over in Brisbane last year and was thrilled to have them greet me every morning on my walk to work.

Yes, they are fairly common here but I'm in small city with lots of trees. As I have a dog and neighbours have cats they are hard to photograph in my yard but at my mates house he feeds them and all breeds come right up to him. Each breed seems to know who's turn it is to feed, it is a great and sometimes noisy garden.
