A couple of years ago I posted some pics of the Corsair restoration, these are the latest progress pics from today (23.9.14)
I'm doing a photo history for the Museum of the complete resto...these guys do brilliant work and as the original plane was a complete wreck and missing much of it, they are building nearly the whole plane from scratch. Sadly, only for a static display but I can't wait to see it finished...it's one of my all time favourite planes.
There are also a few pics from the Museum.

There are too many pics to post so here's the link to my Dropbox page..
Enjoy,
Ron.

Thanks Greg, it's been an interesting project for me over the last few years...going up there again today to give Bob Jarrett (the guy in charge of the resto) a DVD with all my pics on it.
I probably won't get there again for at least 6 months as it's a slow going project with a lot of work and I like to see a big difference so my pics don't seem all too similar. Actually, Bob is off to the Pacific on Saturday to hopefully pick up another Corsair, not sure what model yet and its condition... :D

I'm sure it's slow going Ron, looks like a lot of fabrication, and searching for parts, a true labor of love, will be waiting for more shots as the rebuild progresses, thanks for sharing

The guys, doing the work, are also volunteers which makes it all the more special... :-D
