caterpillar of the American Dagger Moth?

Scott posted a cat a couple of days ago. This looks like the same as his American Dagger moth cat. I found him on Saturday and had to bring it home for a photo shoot.

Pretty, but do not touch!
I believe this is a different species.
I suspect that this is a caterpillar of the hickory tussock moth (Lophocampa caryae):

Thanks. Whatever it is, I think a caterpillar version of the snow leopard fits!

Thanks. Not hard. I brought it home on a large leaf and stuck it in a terrarium to take the photos. I was surprised that without changing any settings, I could get the black and white.
