C&C welcome...I value any and all feedback as it will help me become a better photographer. Thanks!
As an ex-mariner and Boy Scout, I recognize and can tie all those knots.
Visited your area last year. You are lucky to have such diverse and attractive subject matter. I like your examples here. What pp do you use (before I make a suggestion?)
I like the composition of #3 very much. Great clarity, interesting textures of the paint, and the water patterns are super.
I don't care for #1 because of the right half being out of focus. And there is some clutter that detracts, such as the blue bags at bottom.
Thanks for the tips, I did not even notice the ugly bags! I did not do any post process yet. I use Elements 10 but I am not very good at it. I am shooting in raw now so I better learn quickly!
Good pix. A little pp and cropping will go a long way to improve. I am very familiar with the locale, though I haven't been there in about 10 years.
It is nice to see more of the little details there, rather than umpteen pix of Motif #1.
Thanks Beowulf, I took a bunch of pictures of Motif #1 and they just don't do it for me.
Good job and good eye. I have visited that area, also. I golfed there and it was referred to as the Pebble Beach of the East, if memory serves me. :-)
