I've been playing around with a camera of some sort for a while. Sold the expensive set to pay bills and now have a couple of inexpensive Point and Shoots. See what you think.

sorry about you having to sell your good cameras,but do not sell your p+s short. They can still take great photos. untill i got my d100 i was shooting with a coolpix L22 named the pocket rocket. many of myu photos posted here were done with p+s.

Welcome, Fred, and yes, keep the P&S cameras. A lot can be done with them. I have an old Fuji F-20 that I use a lot, and it takes great close-ups. Post more photos, Fred.

I think you have come to the right place, for sure it does not take an expensive camera ummm! pinhole camera would do.
