I love these! Never seen most of them.
Is late summer/early fall the best time to visit your part of the country to see them? Or do they appear in the Spring/Summer as well?

I find more at this time of year than I do in the Spring. I found another Saddleback on my Hibiscus this afternoon & another Rose Slug this morning over in the neighbors yard.

Beautiful images, never seen these and didn't know there are so many venomous catapillars.
But they are so pretty! great shots !
I have to say that these photos are outstanding but then again all your photos are. It is photographers like yourself here on UHH that got me interested in this and real close-up photography so I thank you all for that. Again beautiful work. I post most of my photos in the close-up section since they are not quite 1 to 1 photos....Rich
The caterpillar man! Excellent shots on all of these, Scott.
Venomous or not... those caterpillars are beautiful.
Thanks for the comments everyone !!!
Outstanding! ... and an introduction to some more creatures I'd not known existed.
