Over the weekend I was able to get in on some of the Interational Mounted Archers when they had their US meet in my area.. Most were from Japan but others where from China, Brazil, Hungary and of course the US. Here are a few pictures from the event..I was not the official photographer so did not have the best vantage point.

That would depend on the target..some where as close as 20ft but they are going as fast as they can as they are also timed. Some of the targets are 30ft and some are over their heads on tall poles about 25ft up. One of the gentlemen holds the world title. They will have there next meet in Korea. They do not guide their horses as they go down a lane about 6ft wide.
