I speak to friends about Ugly Hedgehog and more than once I've been asked why a photography forum is called UHH... it would be good if I knew the correct answer.

Actually names,for the most part, have no real meaning. Names are just an agreement among folks. Why is a tree not called a bpo35ok ?

Just because you lot dont know what motivated the name Ugly Hedgehog does not mean that it was a case of any name will do...
I do not believe for an instant that Ugly Hedgehog was just a random choice as you and others have suggested.
