For my birhday one of my sons bought these. Upon doing some research, it seemed like a really good deal without getting into the 95ms write speed group. I think he paid about $50 for the pair at Adorama.
Has anyone used these and if so, how do you like them as far as write speed, etc.?
Sorry for the IQ, it was a really quick phone pic.
I do suggest that you consult your camera manual and see if the cards are recommended.

I appreciate your concern but last week a D7100 was delivered and it supports UHS-1 SD cards. I hope to be able to pop them in the camera tomorrow.
I use that very card in my D800E and D810. Very dependable and backed as good as anything else on the market. I became a big fan of Lexar cards after all the counterfeiting issues with Sandisk cards a couple years ago.
And the free Image Rescue 5 software that comes with them has proven to be fantastic recovery software that can be used with ANY digital storage device to recover lost or deleted files.

600x is about 90 MBs read speed... so they write about 45-50 MBs.... I use a UHS-1 card in my D7100 and you can definately tell the speed difference over a standard class 10 card.

Thank you for the input, C. I can think of no finer recommendation.
If you have any suggestions for lenses for the 7100 (a completely rhetorical question, btw) that won't break the bank, I will compile a list so that when the next ship comes in I will be armed with knowledge.
I wouldn't be opposed to suggestions on a flash unit either. An SB-910 would be nice but I can't spend $500+ to light up my life. Not this year anyway...

They will get the job done.

As Don pointed out, I believe that they will be faster than a standard Class 10 and it wasn't my intention to lighten his wallet too much.
I was just thrilled that I am no longer stuck with a pouch full of 8 gb cards.

Exactly what focal lengths did you have in mind?
An SB-700 is a very good alternative to the SB-910 and a much lower price.
I use the same cards in my D7000 and have no problems whatsoever. I quite like them, especially for my eagle shooting.

Currently I just have the 18-55 that came with the D5000 and a 55-300.
I've heard several people say that they get good results with the 55-300 so I must be doing something wrong as nothing I've done so far looks all that good to me. On the other hand, 99% of what I post is straight out of the camera and can't really measure up to the ones that have had an hours work in Photoshop. It's a bit frustrating at times.

I know you did, thanks for your two cents worth.

Is that what you shot Spain with?
Probably a mix of different cards depending on the day. But certainly sometimes.
