Buying nikon d7100 refurbed from Cameta Camera

Has anyone dealt with Cameta Camera out of NY i think.
The are selling a d7100/18-140mm refurbed by Nikon with a 90 day Nikon warranty for 1169.00. They throw in an additional 7 months warranty for nothing. They will sell me a 3 year warranty for camera and lens for 90 with a company called Mack. Box includes

I have dealt with them on many purchases for at least three years. Never had a problem. I have read that some of the Hogs here have had some issues.

I have never dealt with Cameta Camera, but I know that it's definitely one of the shops recommended by people on UHH. I was more concerned with the Mack Warranty, but I did some quick research on their ratings and their ratings range from 4&1/4 (out of 5) down to 3&1/2. There were only a handful of raters but the company seems OK.

Cameta gets almost all of Nikon's refurbs; Overall, they are a very reliable company to deal with; I've never had a problem with them. I'm not at all familiar with the outfit offering the extended warranty, so I can't comment on that.

I bought a couple of cameras from Cameta. The first I returned after eight months. I really didn't expect anything or maybe $50.00 credit on another purchase. They sent me another camera like the one I sent back. It had another one year warranty with it.

I live a couple of miles from them and have bought a majority of my photo equipment from them. They are great and, for what it is worth, they have my recommendation.

I, too, have purchased several items of photo gear (bodies, lenses, flashes, etc.) from Cameta. They have always been first rate to deal with. A few years ago they even helped track down a mis-delivered new D200 body that I had ordered but not received after the expected delivery schedule passed by. UPS had delivered it to a similar sounding address across town; unbelievably it sat there on the porch of a house whose occupants were on vacation out of state. Cameta tracked it down and UPS was dispatched to pick it up and delver it the same day.

Cameta Camera is highly recommended. They also offer extras for just a few more $$. Great place to deal with.
Plus if you do not live in NY you do not pay sales tax vs. buying from Nikon cause they will charge you sales tax. Go for it.

I bought my d7100 from them. The camera look new and only had a 125 shutter count. Wonderful people to deal with.

I have bad experience with Cameta Camera I bought my D5300 bundle, they send me just one battery. I ordered an extra battery and also they send me defferent Flash. I will not buy from Cameta anymore. they are cheater. I buy all my Photography needs from Adorama

I have bought from them many times with excellent results. Had a problem with a flash and they replaced immediately.
