The Thrips was so small. That's a Pine needle in the frame with it. The Fly had mites & I was trying to focus on them rather than the eyes... Wife called me in for breakfast so I didn't get any other shots of it. It few off anyway, even if she hadn't called me.

Your first is a parasitic wasp; there are a whole bunch of families of these tiny critters. Families Pteromalidae, Eulophidae and Chalcidae are possibilities, each with uncounted species, but I can't make out the wing veins which might narrow down the possibilities. Some of the tiny ones grow up in an egg of another insect. Thrips have narrow, feathery wings generally held flat on the back.
That's a great shot to show the size of the beast.
