And here's the new toy.
I spent about 2 hours last night getting a decent columniation on it.

And was rewarded with this.

It's funny how the weather always knows when you get a new telescope.
After shooting these it clouded over and its supposed to stay that way all week thanks to a hurricane off the coast of Mexico.
Curious to see how this scope handles the planets.

Hi Albuq, fantastic photo I love that C-11". I know what you mean I live in Santa Maria CA and it's been foggy 87 of the last 90 days I've had my Meade 8".

Here I am lamenting a few days of solid cloud. I like fog but really, 87 of 90?

Finally got some clear skies during the heat wave and expect more this weekend. Clear days, foggy nights is the norm here in the summer. Winter is my best seeing.
