The 60mm macro is THE macro lens to get for your em5. Unless of course you use standard 4/3 lenses with an adapter, then the Sigma 105mm and 150mm macros will get you even closer, and they are incredibly sharp.

Regardless of your choice, I recommend a set of extension tubes:

Ed, I use my old f2 / 90mm macro. It requires an adapter, but it is very sharp from f2.8 to f11 (Olympus recommends only f4 to f8). It can only be used in aperture mode. The f2.8 / 60mm is easier to use and can be used in any mode. Since this is 4/3rds, the image will look 2X life size. With an extension tube, you will reach beyond 2X images.

For lots of information on macro equipment and photography you could ask your question in the True Macro section or read their info. at the beginning of the section. They are a very helpful and knowledgeable bunch of fellow hogs.

Go to the top of this page where the titles are and press HOME, you will find a list and True Macro is there - also if you go to the bottom of that list you will see a tab that says 'all sectons' which will give you the entire list. Good luck.
