Hello all
I recntly ran across this site and have found a wealth of helpful information. I rose from film to serious digital 8 years ago with the birth of my first granddaughter. I now shoot with the D7000 and have a variety of lenses, my favorite being a recently aquired 70-200 f2.8. My biggest focus is shooting for pleasure and for my other vice barbershop singing, where I shoot low light and raw the performances where flash cannot be used. I then make these photos available to the performers free of charge.
At some point I may turn this into a side business. I look forward to helping with all things and learning more about the unknowns, most recently in the lighting area as I have aquired some used sppedotron units to start some studio/group work. Any links or thoughts in this area will be greatly appreciated.

As I am new to the forum I am looking for all the help I can get. I am currently in the middle of a tremendous heavy downpour , without access to my computer , just my smartphone, but I have included a link below of a recent event. Typically I shoot at least 2-3 big events a year, all w/o flash and under harsh lighting. I just recently acquired a meter and learning how to use it. From the link provided you can go and see all the events previously done. Once at home I can post individual pictures. Thanks to all in advance.

Welcome to the forum. I just returned from 2 weeks on Ocracoke island. I used to be an engineer on an ammo freighter out of Cherry Point NC. I love your town. Enjoy the site.
