I was recently in the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, where the side wall of the Aureole Restaurant is pitted with alcoves containing sculpture showing various parts of mostly rubenesque women. As I paused, amused to observe the reactions of passing guests, a lady stopped to take a selfie in front of an alcove containing over-sized busts. I was totally struck by the comparison. Unfortunately the angle wasn't the best but I think there is still a humorous story in the shot.
Okay .. well then .. your subject isn't in focus .. but I think that's okay in this instance..
That is priceless.
That is so good that it almost seems like a setup.
The lighting is perfect, maybe a little bit of overcorrection with the noise.
I would do a little bit of levelling, cropping and perspective control but would not change the content at all.

There is something oddly appealing about this picture and the odd thing is, I don't know why! It's a nothing sort of photo on first impressions but very shortly after it does sort of gnaw at you and grow on you. The wall ornaments are relatively discreet but such a powerful part of this image. And then the lady too. Why is she taking a "selfie" - what is she thinking? I like the grungy/raw feel of it as well and the bad colour balance. It's the perfect shot and subject to get away with imbalances. If the angle of the woman were different, or if she were closer, it would not have the same impact. Really odd, but I like it a lot.
This is a true "Decisive Moment". It was obviously taken in less than optimal conditions which shows in the picture, it could use a little work in a few places but these things a far outweighed by the content.
I wish I had taken it.
