Angry birds..

Today when I turned my horse out for a little pasture time he was immediately attacked by a flock of "angry birds". They eventually all flew away and he went to eating. The reason the photos look so orange is due to the smoke that has settled in our valley from the 85,000 acre fire in northern Cal..and created a really red sun.

Just angry or they were feeding in the pasture at that place and didn't want to be disturbed. There might have been nests in there but the horses are in there daily and all the nests would be mush..

I've never seen anything like that before. Wonder why they attacked. By the way, beautiful dappled Palomino.
