go to my profile...click the browse button for pic you want ..click upload just changed mine and it worked just fine

Hmmm . . . mine just changed fine.
My Profile: Choose File : (select from your drive) Choose : Update Avatar.
Make sure it's a JPG, PNG or GIF, and that it isn't too big.

I did that in profile.
Do you hih Chage anytime affter you choose. I don't see where there are any thing showing down load.
I waited and tried again clicking right away. Nietheir worked.

There is no "Upload" button for the avatar; only "Choose File" and "Update Avatar."
When I change mine, it is instantaneous - no approvals.
If it isn't working for you, and you followed the steps, try sending a message to Admin - maybe your account has an issue.
