Help Recovery pictures on SD card

I just deleted some pictures I did not intend to.
Looked on Google for recovery software and found dozens.
I don't want to download something that sends a lot of other stuff with it.
Which program would you suggest. My card is a 16GB Delkin.

i downloaded that on my windows 7/64 bit and found it to be buggy. I tried to recover some photos with "deep scan" and it just hung. also program did not exit cleanly (hit the x and it just sits there).
i have heard others praise it so i was a bit surprised
others have this issue?

I have a Win7 64-bit and have never had a problem. Computers can be a mystery though.
May I suggest, you defag your PC and or run some malware and virus scans. It may be something as simple as your hard drive is getting full, fragged or you could have something more malevolent in the background. Up to you of course, but can't hurt either way. S-
