Here are four versions of a White Miller dry fly.
White Miller Badger
White Miller Duck Flank Wings
White Miller Duck Quill Wings
White Miller Wolf
These would look better in the lips of a Brown Trout. I really like the way you have these well lit. Really shows your great workmanship. You should have quite a display of these by now.
Caught these 2 Yellowstone Cutthroats on the Therofare river on a #12 Stimilator with a bead head black Northfork special on a Cowboys & Cutthroats camping trip.
Thank you, and I'll have to take your word for how good they tasted.
I thought about getting a bowl of water and floating these flies for the pics, but that wouldn't look natural. I guess someday I'll have to get some pics of my flies while I'm actually fishing them. :-D
Great idea, we have fished the White River out of Mountain Home AR and the Little Red close by and have had great success. There are several great spots where this could be done. I have been tying flies for some time now but really don't feel they are good enough to put on display, but I do catch trout on them.
If your flies look good enough for the fish, they should look good enough to post them here.
