what company is best for glass

I'm looking to purchase a new piece of glass but I don't know if I should stick with CANON or move on to SIGMA for glass....im looking for a good 70-300mm any suggestions

Would be tough to beat Canon's 70-300L!

I read that Canon has dropped their price, not a sale, on all "L" lens. Might be worth following up.

Still out of your range likely but Canon is selling refurbished 70-300L's right now for $1102.20.

Sigma's lenses rock. Solid construction, great imaging. YOu should also look at Tamron's 70-300

I have the canon 70-300 (approx$650 new) I bought from canon refurb (about $365) and love it. Sharp focus and not too heavy. Highly recommend!
