Hello everyone...setting up Free Sunday for RR as he is out having fun. Post what you recently shot or anything that you want to post; after all it is Free Sunday.
On Tuesday Mary and I went to Annandale to view an Osprey nest. We were not disappointed as an adult and a juvenile posed for us. On the way we stopped at Pleasant Lake and found a whole lot of gulls.
Irene You have such a good start. I was going to put this one on your challenge, but as I see that Free sunday is up a running will but it here instead. Hope to go back as look throuhg pictures for some more.
Saw these two little kids at our bus stop corner. As asked mom if ok to take pictures. Told them what I wanted them to do and came away with this.

 Remember the mixed feelings about the first day of school??
Today was a perfect summer day. You have seen this light house before - "Spring Point Ledge Light" - but not the inside. Today a friend and I braved the steel rung ladders, narrow staircases and joined other to see inside the lighthouse. It is open weekends from June to October and the $5 fee goes towards the upkeep. What a view! Built in the 1850s I think.
Coming to Portland, ME in September of 2015? This is one light house you'll see.

It's a long walk out - the light was to warn ships of the ledge - the scene of many wrecks.

I liked the pattern in the glass block windows.
Also had a couple senior shoots this week and the 2 were cousins. I couldn't resist playing around.

Nice photo Agnes.....the start of school does end summer for many folks.
Free Sunday is an event that's hard to resist but ... I'll
wait till 12:01 am, if I'm still awake (most likely) and hope
all UHH will have a happy Labor Day holiday.
