The Dreamliner is an incredible airplane and superior to the Airbus competitor. BTW, many pilots detest the Airbus planes because of design defects, poor control design, and very bad computer implementation and interface.

Trivia: a few weeks after 9/11 an Airbus plane self-destructed over NY because of a design feature that made the plane so weak that even normal maneuvers could overstress the airframe. In that incident Airbus' engine and tail decided to depart the airframe, apropos of no good reason.

Boeing do make great aircraft. It is an impressive show of what the plane can do, but this sort of flight is only possible where the aircraft is almost empty of both payload and fuel.

I do hope Boeing have overcome the battery problems they had last year.
