This certainly won't make the Bloomberg sycophants, and the gun grabbing idiots, and their ilk very happy!

Like gun control is going to make thugs give up their guns and therefore bring down the crime rate. That kind of thinking is a special kind of stupid.

You folks already know my opinion on polls and where I stand on gun control. There is no point in me elaborating on either. We all have our points of view and firmly entrenched in our ideals and will not sway our ways of thinking.

Much as I hate to admit, Rick Perry said that. Its one of the few things he has ever said that I agree with.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day! Well, an old school clock any way!

There are plenty of laws on the books. We really don't need any new ones. What we need is to have all the Judges be responsible for their actions and start handing out harsher sentences.

I also believe that chain gangs work. We also need to look at sentences with hard labor.

Maybe they should have told that to the 9 year old girl when they handed her a loaded Uzi.

My guns are under control. In a safe when not in use. In a locked case when being transported. In my hand or holster when in use. Follow all safety rules when in my hand.

Even I as a pro gun person have to question the reasoning of teaching a 9 year old to shoot an Uzi?

Here in WA there is a ballot measure coming up in Nov that will require background checks for all gun transfers, including, but not limited to loaning your hunting rifle to a friend, letting a friend or adult family member shoot your pistol at the range, or having a gunsmith work on your gun. I'm sure all of the criminals in this state are just wringing their hands over how they are going to get their hands on a gun now that it will be illegal for them to steal one, or buy a stolen one "off the street". Gun grabbers just have no common sense, including Bill Gates, who gave a million dollars to this cause which is only going to impact the law-abiding. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

The Anti-gun folks continue to boggle my mind with their stupidity! Are they really ignorant enough to think that something like this is going to do anything except to infringe on rights of good honest people? Do they really, really, really think this will have any impact on bad individuals intent on doing harm to others with a firearm, hammer, knife, ball bat or any other weapon? What we need are more laws like not loaning your weed wacker to your neighbor as he might cut someone's ankle in the process of wacking weeds. That would stop that crap from happening right now!

I read and heard that was on her "bucket list" of things to do, Chris. I don't remember having a "bucket list" when I was 9.

Another case where immature adults instill their hopes and dreams in their children. Kind of like beauty pageants only much more dangerous.
